Heroshya is the son of Sesshomaru, his birth was planned and arranged by Sesshomaru's mother who insisted that he have an heir to the empire. Heroshya was brought up to be a great demon fighter and demon swordsman as a way of preparing him to take over his father's empire as well as gain one of his own when the time comes.  As a young boy of 9 (but due to his demon status, having the look and maturity of a 13 year old)..... Heroshya felt a slight bitterness towards his father who not only abandoned Heroshya's mother but allowed a human girl to sit beside him at the throne.  Heroshya refused to live with his father in the huge castle, deciding instead to remain with his mother whom he is devoted to.  Heroshya enjoys practicing with his wooden sword and practicing with his father and other demon friends. Heroshya is an very friendly and outgoing demon that has many other male demon friends that he enjoys sparing with.

By the time Heroshya turned 17 years old but  with the maturity and appearance of a 21 year old he is becoming more familiar with his half sisters Nephra and Zephra but feeling a disapproval of them due to their half human status, refusing to bond or deal with them..... until his father commands that he become the girls guardian and protector.  At first very unhappy with this decree, Heroshya reluctantly obeys his father's order but soon finds himself feeling a fondness and brotherly affection for his half sister Nephra though still having his quarrels and feuds with Zephra.  At the age of 17 Heroshya continues to practice with the sword that his father gave him which is made up of Sesshomaru's fang. Heroshya trains with his sword at demon tournaments, demon war games and warrior missions,  also using this sword when he fights in  his most dangerous battles.  The sword  has 2 fragments of his father's power which emits elements of  heavy wind as well as earth stones and sand, but when Heroshya adds his own demonic power to his father's power, the sword can cause an immense tornado made up of wind, stone and thick sand.   The earth element of his sword has the ability to drown out Zephra's fire element and the wind element has the ability to block or freeze Nephra's water element.

At age 25, Herohsya is at his prime and per his demon status will no longer  look any older.  His half sisters now 15 year old teenagers, Heroshya finds himself more involved in their lives and constantly with the family...also becoming closer to his father's wife Rin.  Heroshya has the superiority and power that makes him destined to become a supreme ruler.
